Allegis Global Solutions Announces Partnership with Procurement Specialists SimPPLY
Allegis Global Solutions (AGS), a leading provider of global talent acquisition and workforce solutions, is proud to announce a partnership with SimPPLY procurement specialists. As part of the AGS strategy to lead services procurement solutions in Australia and New Zealand, the partnership with SimPPLY will provide AGS clients with real insights into statement of work (SOW) spend and the solution required to take control of this high risk and often rogue spend category.
Services category spend can often be more than six times the size of a company’s contingent labour spend. Industry analysts are saying that 50 percent of organisations plan to increase their use of SOW engagements over the next 10 years. Only 30 percent of companies can currently track performance of SOW-based labour and services against predetermined and agreed-upon delivery dates and milestones, leaving exposure to risk, overpayment, and misalignment of objectives to delivery.
The SimPPLY partnership with AGS will offer the A/NZ market an end-to-end service to correctly identify and manage SOW expenditure. SimPPLY will bring to the partnership years of procurement expertise in region, along with proprietary technology and expenditure analytics capabilities to collect, cleanse, categorise, and classify AGS clients’ complete transactional spend data, from internal and external sources.
AGS uses the data to drive recommended solutions for clients to reduce risks and costs associated with, and actively manage, SOW and/or Labour Hire spend over the long term. Clients then receive back all transactional data cleansed, normalised, categorised, and classified to enable them to drive savings and manage risks in other expenditure categories.
AGS Procurement Solutions offer a process for buying and managing the outsourcing of work and consultancy services that a client has through an SOW; it is more than just a mechanism for an overall process, it is a way of bringing visibility to a client portfolio, then helping convert that visibility into better data-driven buying decisions. In 2018, Everest Group recognised AGS as a Leader in their Services Procurement PEAK Matrix. Everest ranked AGS as highest in the Leader category, citing overall strengths in market adoption, portfolio mix, value delivered, scope of services offered, delivery footprint, and vision and strategy.
“We are really excited about this partnership with SimPPLY, which gives us a great opportunity to combine two strong procurement solutions in the Australian market to bring deep insight to companies who are searching for proven ways to first identify, and then better manage their contingent and services-based workforce to deliver more value to their organisations. By putting AGS’ world-class service provision around the analytics provided by SimPPLY, we have a very solid offering to the market that will drive real results.” Jon Kesman, Head of Procurement Solutions, Allegis Global Solutions.
“SimPPLY are extremely pleased to be partnering with Allegis Global Solutions, to deliver advantage and benefit to customers, relating to non-permanent recruitment expenditure. The SimPPLY and AGS combined service offering also provides opportunity for cost savings in all other areas of a customer’s business.” Richard Jacobs, SimPPLY Managing Director.
