Are Pre-Identified Workers Costing You More Than Assumed?

While pre-identified workers are an important segment of the contingent workforce, their usage may be impacting your ability to control costs more than you know. In this white paper, we’ll discuss the pros and cons of pre-identified workers and how a managed service provider (MSP) can help keep this portion of your contingent workforce in check.

Pre-identified workers are those that are sourced outside of your regular contingent labour programme, process, and supply base. This generally presents itself in one of two ways. The most common way is when a single supplier works directly with managers outside of the contingent labour programme (often an MSP) to fill requisitions, rather than the hiring managers competitively sourcing workers from the full supply base through the programme. The second, and less common way, is when managers identify their own candidates and then manage the assignment through the vendor management system (VMS) technology.
