Global Perspective: How to improve the gender diversity within talent acquisition
While much progress has been made, there is still a long way to go before true gender diversity is achieved in workplaces across the world.
Statistics indicate that Australia is one place where significant improvements could be made. Although 58% of the country's university graduates are female, only just over two-thirds (67%) of working-age women are currently employed. In comparison, 78% of men who are able to work are doing so, which indicates that Australia is failing to successfully capture - and indeed benefit from - the valuable economic contribution and diversity of thought and experiences that educated women can provide.
