An international financial institution required a managed service provider (MSP) for its APAC region to replace an incumbent programme characterised by frequent operational disruptions and a lack of strategic support.
Though the client had initial concerns about engaging a company headquartered in North America, after discussions with the Allegis Global Solutions team and learning more about our AGS Managed Services (AGS) offerings, they were impressed with our customised solutions centred around APAC-specific needs.
The client determined a need to focus on technological innovation and sought a partner with a proven track record of adaptability and commitment to localisation across diverse APAC markets. The client believed it was critical to engage an MSP provider who could act as an advisor, improve programme adoption, enhance end-user experience, increase workforce visibility, identify cost savings opportunities and provide a more strategic and consultative partnership.
Advancing their technological tools was a top priority for our client, so we rapidly deployed the Acumen® Intelligent Workforce Platform to provide unmatched visibility into their entire workforce and access to billions of data points for greater market insight and benchmarking. In addition, the gen AI capabilities of Globality, in conjunction with Acumen, helped the team reduce costs, drive growth and manage risks. These advanced tools ultimately improved user experience and increased program adoption.
With greater access to data, the AGS team was able to deliver more accurate reporting and, ultimately, more strategic and consultative value to the client. AGS also drove vendor behaviour changes to improve supply chain management and overall value delivery. Our strategic advisory methodology enabled the client's internal teams to maintain focus on their core responsibilities.
Working closely with the internal team, AGS built a transformative plan that engendered trust, improved client perception and led to plans for programme expansion across multiple countries throughout the APAC region.
In its first year, this partnership yielded impressive results that have inspired discussions for a large expansion across the APAC region. The programme delivered cost savings by managing bill rates; eliminated overspend in bonuses and overtime; and introduced additional cost-effective payrolling services for the locations in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. With the AGS team in place, stakeholders reported a reduction in operational distractions which allowed the combined team to focus on strategic initiatives and technological advances.
In addition to increasing visibility and improving user experience, AGS implemented compliance and governance processes that led to audit readiness and increased trust in the programme. The improvements enhanced response times and client satisfaction, yielding a 100% NPS score which far exceeded the industry benchmark of 70-80%.
With an improved response time of more than 90% and a cost savings of over $1.5 million USD, the client’s leaders are considering additional workforce solutions, including direct sourcing and services procurement on a global level and expanding the payrolling services across their entire enterprise.
